Alright MAG fans, here’s something pretty cool for you! The PlayStation Blog has posted very Hi-Res images of all of the maps used in MAG from a birds-eye view! That’s right, head on over to this link and you will find an aerial view of every Suppression, Sabotage, Acquisition, and Domination map that is used in the game so that you can obsessively plan out your every tactical maneuver. I’m not sure if I have ever seen a game do this before, but I must say – it is pretty cool. And I have no doubt that it will ramp up the level of competition in the game to something just short of requiring actual military training. Now get out there and destroy the other faction!
Well i'm back in Cuba...yeah gurl! We're done with the Haiti thing. Now it's on to he west coast. I'll be back in April. I got my orders and i'llbe transfering to Cleveland, OH in July. I just wanted to say hi....talk to you guys later
Well it was supposed to be a normal south patrol to bust drug runners and what not. After our first stop for fuel we were re directed to go to the carribean ocean and help with the crisis in Haiti. I did get to go through the Panama Canal. Today we stopped in Cuba at the famous Navy base in Guantanamo Bay. However, I did not get to see any terriost running around in prision uniforms. they keep them locked up at Camp X-ray back in the hills. Anyway, tomorrow we are heading towards Haiti to start the helping process. I don't know what we are going to be doing but i'll try to keep you guys updated when ever i get some good internet. That's all i have for now...until then...Iceman out!
Well guys, and girls, it has been a blast playing with all of you for the last few months. Socom is a great game, thank you DLC, and playing with you guys makes it really fun. Most of all it is a great stress relief for me from all the crap i deal with working for our great government. I'll miss you guys over the course of the next 96 days or so. I'll try to get on the forums and what not while i'm out at sea but our connection is really really slow...remember dial-up, yeah slower than that. you can reach me via e-mail at; john.j.eister22@uscg.mil feel free to send me some news or something funny. just keep the pictures clean and to a very small size so it doesn't jam up the system...we run with very minimal bandwith on patrol and a normal size picture or attachment that you would send with an everday e-mail, will block up the "pipe" for a few days. I'll be back online sometime when i return in april. of course, i'll have to get my internet turned back on and what not, but it will happen. this will be my last patrol out at sea for awhile. my next duty station should be a land job. so it will pretty much be a socom fest....yeah girl!!
