So as i was reading the Socom.com website i noticed the post "It's Out"
Then the next line reads......

"SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation has shipped!"

OH WHAT THE HELL!! why was the release date 10/14? couldn't they say it will be shipped on tuesday and available on thursday?

heres the whole story, read me

then i thought the next post was even better! they are shutting down the servers from 11am to 4pm for necessary updates that will make your socom playing more enjoyable -

"As you may have already seen on the PlayStation.blog, the PlayStation®Network will be down today from approximately 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST for “essential maintenance work.” This maintenance work includes updating the firmware for the PLAYSTATION®3 system which will ultimately make the gaming experience for SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation more enjoyable. We are sorry that interferes with the first day of gameplay for SOCOM: Confrontation. The servers will be back up and running again as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!"

that was posted on the 14th, they never say what day they are updating......
